Alcea 'Chater's White'
White double hollyhock
A stunning white hollyhock with showy double blooms. A striking way to add height to the back of a sunny garden border or against a fence or porch. The flower spikes will typically grow to around 2m tall. Hollyhocks are generally biennial plants, meaning they put energy into growing their leaves and roots in the first year, with the flowers appearing in their second (final) year.
They prefer a site in full sun, but will tolerate some light shade. Plant in fertile, well-drained soil and water well during prolonged dry periods.
