Chamaedorea costaricana
Cluster palm, bamboo palm
An elegant clumping palm with graceful soft fronds and slim bamboo like stems. A great choice for screening, or use as lush texture in a subtropical garden. They prefer moist but well drained soil in full sun or semi shade. They look their best in a more sheltered position, and can be grown in containers or indoors.
They will reach around 3m tall and 2m wide, with more stems coming up from the base over time.

We are currently offering shipping for our 1.5L grade plants. We can fit 9 x 1.5L plants per box, so please order in multiples of 9 plants to make the best of our shipping rates.
We ship on Mondays and Tuesdays.
Orders placed before 8 a.m. Tuesday will ship that day. Orders placed after 8am Tuesday will ship the following Monday.
Please contact us directly if you are making a large order, or if you would like to purchase our larger grade plants. We are happy to arrange freight if required.
Pick up is available for all grades of plants.
