An attractive native plant with vibrant hanging red flowers in spring through to summer. The flowers are curved, named after the beak of the native Kākā parrot.
It grows to around 2.5m tall and 2m wide at maturity.
It prefers well drained soil, in sun or part shade. It looks great in a native or tropical style garden.

We are currently offering shipping for our 1.5L grade plants. We can fit 9 x 1.5L plants per box, so please order in multiples of 9 plants to make the best of our shipping rates.
We ship on Mondays and Tuesdays.
Orders placed before 8 a.m. Tuesday will ship that day. Orders placed after 8am Tuesday will ship the following Monday.
Please contact us directly if you are making a large order, or if you would like to purchase our larger grade plants. We are happy to arrange freight if required.
Pick up is available for all grades of plants.
