Shellflower, dwarf Cardamom
A small ginger that grows to 1.5m tall. It has attractive foliage and large creamy white flowers on long stalks in summer. A great addition to a subtropical style garden. The foliage is aromatic and smells like cardamom when disturbed, though this plant is not the source of the culinary spice.
It prefers a part shade position with moist well drained soil, rich in organic matter. It needs regular watering over summer, and is evergreen in areas without regular frosts.

We are currently offering shipping for our 1.5L grade plants. We can fit 9 x 1.5L plants per box, so please order in multiples of 9 plants to make the best of our shipping rates.
We ship on Mondays and Tuesdays.
Orders placed before 8 a.m. Tuesday will ship that day. Orders placed after 8am Tuesday will ship the following Monday.
Please contact us directly if you are making a large order, or if you would like to purchase our larger grade plants. We are happy to arrange freight if required.
Pick up is available for all grades of plants.
